Quad-Rings are four-lipped seals with a specially developed sealing profile that provides twice the number of sealing surfaces as an O-ring. The four-lobed design not only provides lower fiction than an O-ring, but also resists spiral twist, due to its square cross section. Quad-Rings are available in a wide range of elastomeric materials for both standard and special applications. Quad-Rings are vulcanized as a continuous ring. Their dimensions are specified with the inside diameter "d1" and the cross-section "W". Quad-Rings are available in all standard O-Ring sizes from 1/32" to 26", as well as custom seals for unique applications. There are two sealing surfaces to provide a positive seal with less friction. Due to an improved pressure profile over Quad-Ring cross-section, a high sealing effect is achieved. The recessed mold parting line provides no flash or parting line on the surface of the seal and ensures "zero leakage." A lubricant reservoir formed between the sealing lips improves performance at start-up.
We specialize in manufacturing Rubber Diaphragms for critical applications in Regulators, Valves, Actuators, Pumps and many other such industrial components. Our Diaphragms are both reinforced and non-reinforced. Also, we have administered the capability of achieving a dimensional tolerance of +/- 0.001 inches. We have secured various quality approvals and have supplied Gas Regulator parts in quantities as high as lakhs per month. We manufacture PHE and Heat Exchanger Gaskets to meet the precise needs of various OEMs. We possess a large stock of Gaskets for a wide variety of models. We also undertake contracts for replacement of old Heat Exchanger Gaskets. Also, we offer Viton Gaskets for Molds and other such applications. The Gaskets are used in various media such as Steam, Ammonia, and Sulphuric Acid. We manufacture Rubber Gaskets to withstand/resistant destructive effect of most of the organic and inorganic fluids.
An Oil Seal environment consists of a shaft that is rotating inside a housing or a bore. Due to friction, there would be some clearance between the shaft and the bore. The function of the Oil Seal is to stop the fluid inside from leaking out the clearance between the shaft and the housing. The seal may also be used to prevent outside materials, such as dirt, from moving in through the clearance.
"Dynamic sealing" is the relationship between the rotating shaft and the seal and is handled by the sealing element. A garter spring may be used in the oil seal to increase the radial interference between the seal lip and contact point on the shaft. In order to achieve this interference, the oil seal's ID must be slightly smaller than the diameter of the shaft. "Static sealing" is the relationship between the housing and the seal. In order to achieve this interference, the oil seal's OD must be slightly larger than the diameter of the housing or the bore. An Oil Seal normally consists of three basic components: the sealing element, the metal case and the spring. The purpose of the sealing element is to stop the fluid from leaking between the shaft and the housing. The metal case will impart rigidity and strength to the seal while it is being held in the bore or the recessed groove. The spring will help make the sealing element more effective. All materials should be selected depending on the environment in which the Oil Seal will function.
