Belt drive motor is an electric motor that has an attached sprocket with a series of teeth. The sprocket teeth extend outward and are evenly spaced to interface with the drive chain. The drive chain is a closed-loop chain that has a series of links. The drive chain is rounded over the drive motor sprocket teeth. When the drive motor turns the sprocket, the drive chain automatically pulled forward.
