The DC series self-activating, heatless dryers, DC 121-134 remove moisture from compressed air. They contain two pressure vessels or towers, each containing a quantity of desiccant. One tower dries the air, while the other is being reactivated. The heat of adsorption during drying period causes a temperature rise of the desiccant which stimulates the liberating of water vapour and so the regeneration.
