Reversible vibratory plate compactors are for the compaction of sand & gravel, crushed aggregate as well as mixed soils with some cohesive content. They are ideally suited where forward-reverse operation is required such as in trenches and backfilling along foundations. These compactors increase compaction force over standard plates due to two eccentric weights instead of one.
