Rotating equipment packing provides virtually zero leakage. This design eliminates mylar/polyester adhesive systems traditionally used for packings wrapped with flexible graphite tape. This results in extremely low weight and volume losses at elevated temperatures. Its exceptional radial expansion allows it to seal at extremely low bolt loads, which results in decreased stem and shaft friction.
