Profile: The Witte Company designs and manufactures drying, cooling, screening and related process equipment. In our Witte system, air flows vertically, perpendicular to the fluid bed deck, and at a constant velocity. This ensures uniform heat throughout the entire length of the system. Witte's deck features a triangular profile with a thin, shallow, tapered slot. We developed a series of advances that make consistent vertical air flow possible. Two standard models with a wide range of deck sizes are offered along with custom designs. We design energy-efficient fluid bed drying systems that recycle heated exhaust air back into the system. We offer a two-stage drying system that combines an economical cyclone dust collector with a more efficient bag collector to dry seeds.
