Anti-seize lubricant is a paste-like compound that should be applied to screw-threaded connections between steel and aluminum parts to prevent binding. Its main purpose is to prevent fasteners from well seizing. The bolts frequently break off rather than unthreading. Any thing that threads into aluminum presents a special problem, especially spark plugs. If the engine uses aluminum heads, then anti seize lubricant must be used. It is used during assembly to prevent galling, corrosion and seizing & to assure easier disassembly.

Anti-skid coating is applied to the entire top of tank between the runways. It is disclosed a protective coating composition suitable for application to surfaces of concrete, wood or metal to provide each surface with increased skid and chemical resistance.

Anti skid plate is a metal plate with sharp projections on each side. It is used between wood members or containers to retard movement. It is fixed in a corner of a staircase. The corner is formed with a L-shaped notch, which has a horizontal notch portion at an angle of about 90 degree.
