The system pressure drop from each relief valve discharge through the flare tip must not exceed the allowable relief valve backpressure for all system flow conditions. The allowable backpressure is typically limited to about 10% of the minimum relief valve upstream set pressure for conventional relief valves.

Fluid grip power tongs are used for gripping tubulars by encircling it with fluid pressure. The gripping surface is completely non-metallic and does not alter the pipe surface in any way. When pressure is applied to the circumference of the tube body, it is done in a uniform manner regardless of the pipe's degree of roundness or surface finish. It features an integral back up tong, which utilizes the gripping device. Built in safeguards prevent pressurization of the system while the tong is in the open position.

Fluid loss additives act as bridging materials within the treating fluid, which restricts the flow of fluid into undesirable, overtreated or depleted areas of the reservoir and divert the treatment into the primary areas of interest and production potential. Fluid loss additives reduce the loss of water from cement slurries.

Fluid Loss Control Additives are designed to reduce water loss from the slurry to the formation. This protects sensitive formations from damage and avoids premature dehydration of the slurry. Fluid loss control additives act as gas migration control additives. These prevent gas from channeling through the slurry as it sets and the hydrostatic load is reduced.
