Sleeves are designed with tungsten carbide hard-faced surface or with pressed in tungsten carbide buttons.

Sleeve Valve is a type of valve mechanism for piston engines. It consists of one or more machined sleeves. It fits between the piston and the cylinder wall in the cylinder of an internal combustion engine. It eliminates the often-noisy conventional valve actuating gear. It is constructed as one or more sleeves that fit around the piston inside the cylinder wall. It also has large port openings.

Sleeved rollers are perfectly suited for continuous and intermittent gravity and powered applications. Rollers are available with a cast urethane cover or an interference fit sleeve. The cast urethane sleeve is secured with adhesives or locked in place through locking grooves on the core tube to prevent the sleeve from walking.
