Cathodic Protection Cables is a stranded copper conductor insulated with a black high molecular weight polyethylene (HMWPE) compound that provides excellent abrasion, crush, chemical, oil and moisture resistance. They are designed for use in cathodic systems to protect against galvanic and electrolytic corrosion of underground or submerged metallic objects. These cables are designed to provide protection by acting as a DC feeder cable to electrically charged metallic structures. They are specifically applied to underground pipelines, dams & lock gates, fresh or salt-water steel piles, tanks, condensers and ship hulls.

Ceramic Band Heaters are specifically designed to meet the increasing demand for energy conservation and to improve operation efficiency. These are capable of generating the higher temperatures essential to process today's high temperature resins. Electrical energy savings are achieved by using a 1/4″ thick ceramic fiber insulating blanket, reducing power consumption by 25 to 30 percent. Because of the low thermal conductivity of the ceramic fiber insulation, the external surface temperature of the ceramic band heater is approximately 400°F while running the inside surface temperature at 1200°F. They transmit heat through both conduction and radiation. The element winding is designed to run at maximum temperature and heat the ceramic blocks to the point at which they radiate energy into the barrel as well as conduct energy by being in contact with the barrel.

A ceramic capacitor is so named because of the use of ceramic dielectrics. One type of ceramic capacitor uses a hollow ceramic cylinder as both the form on which to construct the capacitor and as the dielectric material. The plate consist of thin films of metal deposited on the ceramic cylinder. A second type of ceramic capacitor is manufactured in the shape of a disk. After leads are attached to each side of the capacitor, the capacitor is completely covered with an insulating moisture-proof coating. Ceramic capacitors usually range in value between 1 picofarad and 0.01 microfarad and may be used with voltages as high as 30,000 volts.
