Laminar flow controllers use a proportional valve coupled to a flowmeter body. Measurements are taken within the laminar region of the flow meter and the integral PID controller positions the valve to maintain the user programmed set points. The controllers offer single or dual output signals of the same or different voltages and/or different parameters such as mass flow and temperature or flow and pressure. These robust, closed-loop devices can accept and transmit 0-5Vdc, 0-10Vdc, 4-20mA control signals. The flow controllers include a dynamic digital display that simultaneously shows all the process parameters being measured by the meter plus a push button operator interface for set point adjustments and gas select.

Laminar flowmeters fill a special need in flow measurement where the requirements might include low to extremely low flow rates, linear calibration and low noise, ability to measure high-viscosity liquids, or steady low flow repeatability and control accuracy. The basis of the device is the establishment of laminar flow between the pressure taps, and use of the well-known relationship between laminar flow rate through a tube of known cross-sectional area and the pressure drop across its known length. The flowmeter consists of the laminar flow element and a differential pressure-measuring instrument. The meter is sized properly for the flow in the passages to remain laminar, even at the highest rated flow. They produce a pressure difference, which is measured using an auxiliary instrument. The pressure drop across a well-designed laminar flowmeter is linearly proportional to the volume flow rate divided by the viscosity of the fluid flowing.

Laminate Flooring is a type of flooring made of a laminate material. It is made of synthetic materials combined with natural and recycled ingredients & covered with an attached decorative applique including an aluminum oxide finish. It has a dense inner core and a glued-on layer or fused layers of outer material. It is water-resistant, offering use in bathrooms and kitchens in addition to high traffic areas.
