A forklift truck, a lift truck or a forklift is a powered industrial truck used to lift and transport materials, normally by means of steel forks inserted under the load. Forklifts are most commonly used to move loads stored on pallets. It has since become an indispensable piece of equipment in manufacturing and warehousing operations. In a typical warehouse setting, most forklifts used have load capacities of around one to five tons, tough machines of over 50 tonnes capacity have been built and operated. An important aspect of forklift operation is that many have rear-wheel steering. While this increases maneuverability in tight cornering situations, it differs from a driver's traditional experience with other wheeled vehicles as there is no caster action, it is unnecessary to apply steering force to maintain a constant rate of turn.
Electric Pallet Jacks are designed to roll under most containers and are great for machine feeding and offloading. These are used for lifting, moving and positioning pallets. These provide solution for moving heavy pallets from one shelf to another. These are available in variety of colors and designs.
Electric planers are designed to remove a thin layer of material from a piece of wood. These are available in hand held versions and stationary versions. These are useful for fine woodworking to home building.
Electric power generating windmills consist of a blade with variable pitch and spanwise twist. The windmill includes a hub, which are supported on top of a tower for rotation of horizontal axis. Linkage mechanisms connect the roots of the blades to the hub to permit selective independent rotation of the roots and the tips of the blades for varying the pitch and the spanwise twist of the blades. It is connected to a hub. The aerodynamic properties of the blades are adjusted by the control mechanism to permit the generation of electric power under most wind conditions. It does not require an extensive supporting tower.
