Spring Return Cylinders is a cylinder in which a spring returns the piston assembly. These are components of single rod type with pressure to activate the work stroke. The spring in the nonpressurized end returns the piston to its original position when pressure is released. The cylinder must be about twice as long as the required stroke to include space for the spring. They are spring loaded in the opposite direction, so they extend with spring action and retract pneumatically or hydraulically.
Spring return mechanism for returning the movable blade and connected slide plate to their at rest position in a flying shear. The device is positioned outboard of the movable and fixed blades, each of which has mating and alignable apertures through which long lengths of stock material to be sheared into shorter segments are continuously fed. Each device includes an upright elongated spring housing, a compression spring acting within the housing, and a guide button which moves up and down within the housing to return the slide plate and connected movable blade back to their at rest position immediately after each shearing. The guide button has an upper end which allows the slide plate to move or slide diagonally downward. The guide buttons follow the diagonal motion of the movable blade during each cutting cycle.
Spring rewind grounding reels feature fast and convenient automatic spring rewind. A ratchet mechanism locks the reel when the cable is unwound and releases easily for rewinding. The built-in cable hoop guides the cable on and off the reel smoothly. An internal rotary device on the reel axle provides a sturdy connection for the cable.
Spring rewind hose reels are used in lubrication, air, water, air tools and washdown applications. The spring motor provides self-contained rewind power. A non-sparking ratchet assembly locks the reel when the desired length of hose has payed out. A pull on the hose unlocks the reel and spring motor retracts the hose. A declutching is provided to prevent damage from reverse winding. It consists of 4-way roller assembly. It also consists of hose stop, which is used to prevent damage to rollers & nozzles and to permit adjustment of free hose length.
