Lathe Tracers are ideal replacement for manually operated production. Tracers can be mounted at rear or front of a lathe and can be operated by semi-skilled personnel. Tracers are individually tested rigorously to render trouble free longer service. It has hardened tool post with quick-change tool holder. It provides automatic finish cut of predetermined amount from 0-1.5-mm. Power pack has level indicator, special isolator valve for pressure gauge and filters.
Lathes/Turning Centers include 2-axes, 4-axes and multi function. They reduce the cycle time and change over times in small and medium job shops. A 4-axis turning is basically a 2-axis turning center with an additional lower turret added carrying. This turret, carrying between 8 and 12 tools, is independently controlled by the CNC controller. This can reduce cycle time enormously but at the same time, can reduce change over time drastically as they have double the amount of tools available in the machine. These extra tools are kept resident in the machine and are set up and ready to go for a multitude of turning applications. Multi-Function turning centers have the addition of a sub-spindle and y-axis, which is usually mounted as a compound axis on top of the x- axis. The advantages are that features such as cross-holes, tapped holes, slots and grooves can now be machined on components in one set up.
Lattice Track Arbors are used in single purchase lattice track guided systems to hold counterweight that balances the batten load. These are used for individual counterweight sets such as act curtains and fire curtains. A dashpot channel (078-DPC) option is available for use with dashpots in fire curtain systems. This channel is factory welded to the top of the arbor to engage the swaged ball on the dashpot line, causing the dashpot to start to slow the curtain descent. The 12 gauge steel spreader plates every two feet. These arbor tops are punched to accept 8 cables.
