Thermostatic Bimetal consists of two or more metallic strips with different thermal expansion bonded together. When heated up it bends in a pre-determined manner and can be used to monitor, measure or regulate heat. These are used in room heaters or water mixing but they are also used in control devices for instance in automobiles.

Thermostatic Expansion Valves are used for refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. These are available either as complete valves with fixed or replaceable orifice, or from a parts program, as separate valve body and orifice. This device offers a full line of stainless steel expansion valves with copper connections for commercial refrigeration. It have connections that are 3/8″ male flare inlet x 1/2″ male flare outlet. The external equalization port is 1/4″ male flare. It senses the pressure of the refrigerant coming into the evaporator as well as the temperature of the refrigerant as it leaves the evaporator. Then the meters flow of refrigerant into the evaporator to keep it almost perfectly within the engineered specification.

Thermostatic Valves are designed for automobiles comprising of a thermal-sensing component. These are least risky, durable, sturdy and corrosion resistant. These valves is an intrinsic device of an automobile cooling system that are located between the engine and radiator. The key functions of this device is to regulate the temperature of coolant within the prescribed range and also maintain the amount of flow of coolant in engine.
