Deep Drawn Stampings is a process of metal stamping. It allows for flat sheet metal, made of the materials aluminum, copper, nickel, steel or a combination thereof, to be turned into shapes of a three-dimensional form. Stamping presses allow for the creation of these unique deep drawn stampings. A stamping press is made up of a die and a punch. These stampings are used in food packaging industry, hardware, communications, construction and automotive industries.

Deep hole drilling techniques are used in the automotive, shipbuilding, aircraft, machine & tool industries, in plant construction and for hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. There are three types of drilling methods, which are known as solid, trepanning and counter-boring methods. Drilling from solid means cutting out the entire volume of material representing the hole to be drilled. Core drilling (trepanning) cuts away only an annular area, leaving the solid core untouched. Counter-boring improves the surface finish and accuracy of the hole. Counter-boring include sciving and finish-rolling or burnishing.
