Remote mud pump pressure gauges consist of a six-inch fluid filled gauge, high-pressure hose, and heavy-duty diaphragm with sub and wing nut. The lubricating fluid inside the gauge is intended for longer gauge life by sealing the gauge from the weather and damping out rig vibration. The gauge also has a damper valve, which is used to smooth pointer movement. The gauge receives its signal through the high-pressure hose from the diaphragm assembly.
