Thrufeed Centerless Grinders are design by high production process. This fits the unique nature of plastic bonded grinding wheels, making them very effective in virtually all centerless grinding applications. It has abrasive thrufeed wheels include bearing race O.D.'s, roller bearing bodies, piston pins, chain links, shock absorber and strut rods, and postal, fax and copy machine shafts. It can be utilized for bars, shafts and parts. The parts of more than one diameter can be ground using the thrufeed process if the diameter being ground is the largest diameter on the part and it comprises the majority of the overall part length. It can often be combined with other grinding processes to do the job efficiently. It has capability of 015″ to 2″ OD″ diameter, lengths to 20 ft, tolerance to diameter & roundness to .00004″ and finishes to 2 micro inch

Thrust Ball Bearings are designed to take loads applied in the same direction as the axis of the shaft. They prevent the endwise movement. They contain a 90-degree angle. The ball bearing whose angle exceeds 45 degree is also classified as thrust bearings. These bearings are suitable for operation at high speeds. The ball bearing whose angle is 90 degree cannot support any radial load. These are used primarily in machinery with a vertically oriented shaft, which requires a stiff axial support.
