Condenser Coils are made of drawn brass pipes. Condenser coils are heavily coated with soluble solids from the spray water. These coils are designed for the high pressure and temperature associated with refrigeration condensing & the outdoor environment.
Condenser fan motor is a single-phase permanent split-capacitor motor. The proper airflow across the condenser is important for efficient system operation. The reduction of airflow results in higher than normal compartment temperatures. This is connected in parallel with two lines of the compressor. The older motors are equipped with oil port for lubrication purposes. In fan motors without an oil port, the motor is permanently sealed and no lubrication is required. When replacing a condenser fan motor, the wattage and the direction of motor rotation should match the original motor. This is used to assist in dissipating the heat from the refrigerant as it passes through the condenser and cool the compressor. The motor for industrial fan is installed with 24 or 30 inch fan blade. This is used for spot general cooling applications in home, store, office, factory and farm.
Condenser Pressure Regulators are used on air cooled condensers. It maintains sufficient pressure to allow for proper cold weather operations. It is mount on gas or liquid side. It has compact design and used as relief valve.
Condenser tube inspections are conducted with the unit on-line. When an operating unit experiences contamination of the hotwell condensate due to cooling water intrusion from a condenser tube failure, it is imperative the source of leakage be identified immediately. This can identify most failures within one operating shift of gaining access to the suspected water box. This includes the identification, plugging, and retesting of the tube bundle.
