Orbital headforming machine is a noiseless radial forming and fastening system, which replaces conventional riveting, staking and spinning. It also replaces hammering, pressing, peening, rolling, welding and coldheading operations all with one machine. It is used for assembling seat-back latch components, window elevator units and riveting door hinges & door checkers.

Orbital sanders are used to prepare a wood surface before applying a finish, work with an orbital motion. A soft pad, covered with an abrasive sheet, moves in quick, tight circles while the housing remains stationary. It has a bag attached to catch all dust that is made from the sanding operation. It does not remove as much material as fast as the belt sander or disk sander but do a better job on smoothing a surface for finishing.

Orbital Sanders are also called finishing sanders, which comes in half-sheet and quarter-sheet models. A half-sheet sander allows for the sanding of large areas a bit faster and quarter-sheet model is known as a palm sander. The orbital sander is so named because of the action of the sanding pad. The pad moves in a tiny orbit, with a motion that is hardly discernible, so that it actually sands in all directions. The orbital sanders have a bag attached to catch all dust that is made from the sanding operation. It rotate a disk of sandpaper about 5″ in diameter at about 25,000 revolutions per minute.
