Organic zinc coatings are usually used as direct-to-metal primer coats in a multicoat paint system. It contains zinc metal pigment mixed into an organic paint resin such as epoxy or urethane. The high zinc metal concentration in these coatings creates high electrical conductivity, which allows the primer to provide sacrificial protection to any areas of exposed underlying steel. This sacrificial protection is the most desirable feature of these coatings.

Orifice accessories consists of orifice plates which is generally supplied to fit inside the bolt circle of existing customer flanges or as part of a complete orifice assembly ready for welding into on-site pipework. The most common type of flange is the weld neck. Other forms of flanges can be supplied like slip on and screwed. Assemblies consist of pairs of flanges, orifice plate, bolts, nuts, gaskets, jacking screws and plugs. The orifice line tubing is a special heavy wall black polyethylene line, designed for bubble-orifice installations.

Orifice Flowmeters used for the absolute calibration of flow meters. They provide calibration at flowrates greater than 200 1/min. These show a slightly higher stream flow than the ASME sharp-edged orifice. They employ a tapered float assembly and a fixed diameter orifce. They are generally less expensive to install and manufacture than the other commonly used differential pressure flowmeters. This is installed between flanges connecting two pipe sections. They are less than 0.05D thick.

Orifice plate flow meter is designed to provide higher performance in short straight pipe run, tight fit applications, and upstream flow disturbances. It is suitable for most gas, liquid, and steam applications. It requires only two diameters of straight pipe run after an upstream flow disturbance.

Orifice Plate Meter Runs are available with paddle or universal type with concentric, eccentric or segmental orifices. The line sizes 1/2″ through 36″.
