Central Chillers is a self-contained chilling system with more than one unit, with more than one or more compressors and with no pump tank set. Central chillers are water chillers that are stationary and provide cooling to many applications at once. They are available in tonnages from 5 to 300 tons.
Central hydraulic supply system consists of two or more electrically driven pumps delivering oil at pressure and connected to accumulator, which are normally of the piston displacement type. The accumulator piston is backed on the other side by high-pressure air supplied by air bottles, which need to be topped up from the air system from time to time. Switches are controlled by the displacement of the piston so that the pumps is switched of when the accumulators are fully charged and only switched on when the accumulators are approaching the exhaustion point and pressure has dropped to the lower limit.
