Wire Finder is a device that is used to trace energized circuits. It is used to trace the path a cable takes underground, even up to depths of several feet. The wire finder operates by having a transmitter send a signal down the length of a cable, a receiving unit is passed along the length or where the cable runs may be. The wire finder folds down around the lens in front of the lens board and the rear peep-sight folds flat across the top of the camera. These wire finders are used to trace energized or degenerated wires in walls and drop ceilings. It provides reliable results on buried cables to depths of 3 feet and lengths of up to 1000 feet.
