Solid state relay is an electronic switch having no moving parts. Most often the solid-state relay circuit is en-capsulated either in a plug-in module or as an integral part of the photoelectric control circuitry. It consists of an input circuit, an optocoupler, a power output circuit, and power protection components. One of the primary properties of a relay is its ability to isolate the control circuit from the output circuit, which may be subject to high voltage and transient voltage spikes, which could easily disrupt or destroy the control circuit. The key to circuit isolation in solid-state relay is the optocoupler, a small device consisting of an LED that shines light through an optically transperent electrical insulator toward a photosensitive semiconductor device that is activated by the light.

Solid-state relay is an electronic switch, which, unlike an electromechanical relay. It contains no moving parts. It is supported with heat sink. The types of solid state relays are photo-coupled, transformer-coupled and hybrid solid state relay. A photo-coupled solid state relay is controlled by a low voltage signal which is isolated optically from the load. The control signal in a photo-coupled SSR typically energizes an LED which activates a photo-sensitive diode.

Solid State Temperature Monitors are compatible with temperature inputs from dual-purpose sensors and they provide a 4-20 mA output proportional to the overall measurement. These monitors have two independent set points with LED alarm indicators and output relay contacts. The alarm feature functions as a complete single channel monitor that includes alert & danger alarms and output relays.

Solid State Temperature Transmitters includes DIN rail mount, proximity of hall effect input and 4-20 mA output. They are compatible with temperature inputs from dual purpose sensors (vibration and temperature) and offer a 4-20 mA output proportional to the overall measurement. This transmitter includes BNC connector, which is mounted on the front of the unit that provides access to the buffered transducer output signal and also includes both the unfiltered vibration signal and the DC bias voltage.
