Directional control valve is a control valve usually applied to direct hydraulic fluid to a desired point.

Directional valves are used for controlling the start, stop, and direction of fluid flow in a circuit. It can be designed as direct and pilot operated designs. It is available with both AC and DC voltage solenoids. These valves consist of housing, one or two solenoids, control spool and return springs.
