Adsorption filtration equipment is used to remove contaminants from gases and liquids by means of chemical adsorption. It consists of an air-cleaning device that allows a contaminated air stream to pass through layer of solid particles, and an adsorbent bed to absorb pollutant molecules. It is used for the control of organic compounds from exhaust stream that are relatively free of particulate matter. It can also be used for liquid phase and vapor phase adsorber applications.

Adsorption Type Dryers use a desiccant, which adsorbs water vapor in the air stream. Adsorption type dryers consist of two drying towers, each containing an adsorbent, plumbed in parallel. Adsorption type dryers are used as commonly practiced in cryogenic processes.

Agifoil Blade Agitator consists of three or four thin blade elements with a slight curvature and small inclination from the horizontal. The blade elements resemble airplane wings and pump large quantities of liquid with very low power consumption. They are used to blend thin-bodied liquids or keep solids in suspension in large storage tanks.

Agitated film evaporators are used in the processing of very viscous and fouling liquid foods, or suspensions of particulates, which cannot be handled in normal tubular or plate evaporators. The main feature of these evaporators is a rotor within the evaporator body, which agitates the viscous fluid, improving heat transfer and preventing fouling. Various types of low-wear rotors are used: fixed, scraping, or hinged. In the vertical units, the vapor/liquid separator and the motor can be placed either at the top or at the bottom of the unit. The agitated film units are often used in combination with tubular film evaporators, when a very high concentration of solids is required. The evaporation surface of agitated film evaporators is limited, due to mechanical limitation. In contrast, tubular evaporators can be constructed with a large number of tubes, i.e. large evaporation surfaces. In the vertical-type agitated film, the rotor can be removed by a hydraulic lift for inspection or repairs.

Agitated nutsche filter is a filtration technique, which is used with dyes, paints, and fine chemical industries. Safety requirement and environmental concerns due to solvents evaporation lead to development of this type of filter wherein filtration under vacuum or pressure can be carried out in closed vessel. Even solids can be discharged straightaway into drier. It consists of a dished vessel with a perforated plate. The entire vessel can be kept at desired temperature by having a limpet jacket through which heat transfer medium can be passed. The vessel can be made completely leak proof for vacuum or pressure service.

Agitator Seals are low speed and used for agitators, mixers & vessels. These seals are used for applications involving viscous or dry and sticky media. Agitator seals use liquid lubricants.

Agitators have a large, center mounted low speed blade. It efficiently pumps large volumes of product with little or no shear. Agitators are most often used to mix or blend low viscosity products. It is available in variety of configurations to meet various process requirements. Several types of models are available such as paddle blade, agifoil blade and sweep blade agitators.

Air cooled after coolers have an aluminum block cooling element. An electrically driven fan is shielded by a protector for user safety, and it forces cooling air between the fins. High cooling efficiency is combined with low energy consumption. The after cooler is mounted on a sturdy frame.

Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers are an all-aluminum bar & plate design featuring a wide variety of thermally efficient internal and external fin patterns. An air-cooled heat exchanger is simply a product, which cools a circulating fluid within finned tubes by forcing ambient air over the exterior of the tubes. Air-cooled heat exchangers are commonly used in petrochemical facilities to cool process fluids. These heat exchangers have an integral electric motor or fluid powered fan for cooling/heat removal of media. Some air-cooled heat exchangers are frequently used in process plants as condensers and coolers.
