Control valves adjust the flow rate by changing the size and shape of the flow area offered to the fluid passing through it. There are two main categories of control valve used on process plant: globe valve and rotary valves. The flow area in globe valve is dictated by the position of the valve plug relative to its seat, while the flow area in a rotary valve depends on the angular position of a disc or notched sphere within a tubular surround. A piston actuator governs the position of the flow-restricting element in both categories of valve, either directly or through a gear mechanism.

Corrosion resistant globe valves are valves that have high corrosion resistance. These valves are equipped with a bolted flanged yoke-bonnet, outside screw, rising stem, threaded as well as flanged ends. These resistant valves are available in different sizes. This globe valve has a screw-in, union, or bolted bonnet. Screw-in bonnet is the simplest bonnet, offering a durable, pressure-tight seal. Union bonnet is suitable for applications requiring frequent inspection or cleaning.

Cryogenic Check Valves are designed for use on cryogenic bulk station and pipelines. They allow flow in one direction only and prevent back flow in cryogenic systems. These valves are available with a variety of inlet and outlet connections as well as with braze in stainless steel pipe stubs. The feature includes 1/2″ to 2″ sizes, pneumatic test pressure of 33bar, design pressure up to 30bar and temperature range of -196°C to +60°C.

Cryogenic Globe Valves are designed for the handling of cryogenic liquids on bulk storage tanks, transports and pipelines. They provide positive shut-off. These valves are available with a variety of inlet & outlet connections and body configuration as well as with braze in stainless steel pipe stubs. The features include 1/2″ to 3″ size, hydrostatic test pressure of 45bar, pneumatic test pressure of 33bar and temperature range of -196°C to +60°C.
