Pressure controllers consist of two chambers separated by a diaphragm, with a needle valve in the center actuated by the diaphragm. The diaphragm is held down by a spring that is adjustable. If the pressure falls in the upper cylinder, the diaphragm moves upward due to the pressure in the lower chamber. These are fine-tuned at the outer end of the cylinder and gain the rod side at the opposite end of the cylinder. This is associated with gas chromatograph. The reducing valves on the gas tanks are examples of simple pressure controllers. They are used for seat checking and to verify the pressure.

Pressure Switch is a device that senses pressure and changes state at the programmed or adjust point. This closes or opens a set of electrical contacts when a given amount of pressure is exerted on the switch diaphragm. This can be adjustable or non-adjustable and dual pressure is available. The pressure switch closes at a pressure level called the cut-in pressure and opens at a pressure known as the cut out pressure. The cut out pressure determines the lower temperature limit. To set the uppermost temperature limit, the cut-in pressure must also be determined. The difference between the cut-in and cut-out pressure of the switch is differential. This is used as refrigeration system's operating control as a safety device, or to operate a certain part of the total system. Some pressure switches are equipped with a manual reset button that locks in the open position. This is used in both commercial and residential switches.

Pressure transmitters are used to determine the pressure in a vessel or sometimes the level of the vessel. It measures and transmits signal that provides information on these values at specific points in a water system. They provide the information needed to calculate an individual pump's performance or that for a complete pumping system. The differential transmitters are used to measure the hydrostatic level in closed vessels such as hydropneumatic tank. This converts applied pressure to an electrical signal that can be interpreted by a computer or other interpretive device, where it can be used to display or control a process variable.

Pyrometer or radiation thermometer is a non-contact instrument that detects an object's surface temperature by measuring the temperature of the electromagnetic radiation (infrared or visible) emitted from the object. Pyrometers are essentially photo detectors, which are capable of absorbing energy, or measuring the EM wave intensity, at a particular wavelength or within a certain range of wavelengths. There are two types of pyrometers such as optical and infrared pyrometers. Optical pyrometer is designed for thermal radiation in the visible spectrum and infrared pyrometer is designed for thermal radiation in the infrared region.

Radiant Superheaters are placed at the rear of the furnace where they receive the bulk of the heat by radiation from the flame. Radiant superheaters located in the boiler furnaces are used on shipboard only in a few installations. A radiant superheater is one in which the tubes are directly exposed to the furnace radiation. Radiant superheaters are widely used in packaged steam generators.

Resistance thermometers are made up resistance wire wound on a suitable former. They are widely used for accurate measurement of temperature. It consists of a small sensing element assembled into a temperature probe or other protective enclosure. It is particularly suitable for remote reading and can be made of inert materials like platinum. It is stable and shows almost no hysteresis with large temperature excursions. In the medical field, the resistance thermometer probes are best suited for rectal probe use.

Retractable soot blower is designed for cleaning exchanger surfaces in case of environments with high temperature gases (over 800° C). It is fitted with two independently functioning drives for translatory and rotary motion. Translatory drive is used for introducing and retracting the lance tube into the boiler or heater. Rotary drive is used to provide the rotary action of the blowing arc for cleaning.

Rotameters use a float inside a transparent vertical tube to determine the flow rate. Our products have limitations. It consists of a tapered tube, typically made of glass, with a float inside that is pushed up by flow and pulled down by gravity. These can be only used in vertical position with upward flow and cannot be used in fluids that contain solids. This is a variable-area, constant-head, rate-of-flow volume meter in which the fluid flows upward through a tapered tube, lifting a shaped weight to a position where upward fluid force just balances its weight. This can accurately determine flows of low velocity. It is used only in small pipes with relatively low flow. These are very simple and versatile and can be used with a wide variety of liquids and gases over wide ranges of flow rates. The advantage of rotameters are relatively simple device that can be mass manufactured out of cheap materials, allowing for widespread use in places such as third world countries.
