Long & Short Wave Pass Filters are used to separate wavelength regions of light or heat. UV rejection with visible transmission, visible rejection with IR transmission, and visible transmission with NIR rejection are filter designs that is deposited on either glass or plastic substrates. It provides excellent temperature stability, steep transition slope, high rejection and transmission. Every phase of the process is performed in-house, including thin-film coating design, mechanical design, substrate fabrication and polishing, coating, inspection, and environmental testing. It is also used as stray light or trim filters, to eliminate any unwanted near band radiation.

Mastic Coatings are composed of a proportioned mixture of asphalt, sand, lime dust and asbestos fibres. Mastic coatings are designed both for corrosion mitigation and for weighting pipe laid in swamps or under water. The mastic coatings are usually 30-50 wet mils thick and considerably thicker than those applied with conventional paint. Mastic coating provide a vapor-retarding action and are applied like paint.

Molybdenum disulfide coating is a dry-film lubricant coating that can be deposited through numerous methods: RPI utilizes the DCD process. It is typically used for tribiological applications. It is also very useful when applied on top of PVD, CVD and TD coatings: the lower coefficient of friction supplied by the MoS2 can dramatically improve tooling performance.

Non-chromate conversion coating is an immersion coating. It applies a protective oxide coating on aluminum alloys. This coating is conductive, which makes finishing for electrical and electronic components. It is used in magnesium alloys and magnesium-based metal matrix composites.

Non-slip coating prevents slips and falls. It can be used to prevent accidents on sidewalks, ramps, trucks, production areas driveways, basement floors, bricks & stones and steps. It cures to a hard, flat, textured finish. It is suitable for interior and exterior use on concrete, steel, wood, fiberglass, aluminum, and other surfaces where a slip-resistant finish is desired. It provides resistant to food acids, gasoline, sugars, oils, grease, detergent, alkalis, most solvents, and hydraulic fluids.
