Fluorinated ethylene propylene coatings are nonstick coatings melt and flow during baking to provide smooth non-porous films. Because the coating is non-porous its chemical resistance is good. These are non-wetting and have a very low coefficient of friction. This coating has excellent release properties and is often used as a mold release coating. It can withstand a maximum use temperature of 450°F. This coating is typically applied to a thickness of 1-2 mils.

Fluorocarbon coatings are formulated from the family of fluoropolymers, which includes Teflon and others and exhibit many of the properties associated with these unique materials. Utilizing the chemistry of carbon and fluorine, fluorocarbon coatings, impart properties not attainable with other organic coatings when applied over suitable substrates: outstanding chemical and corrosion resistance, non-wetting surfaces, exceptional thermal stability, extremely low coefficient of friction and excellent non-stick qualities.

Fluoropolymer coating is a blend of high performance resins and fluoropolymer lubricants. These single coat thin films provide excellent corrosion and chemical resistance. Its advantages include reduced friction, resistance to galling, non-stick, non-wetting, electrical resistance and abrasion resistance.

Formable coating is applied to the grooved lacquer replica, which covers the irregularities formed in the spiral groove. The metal stamper is free from the undesired irregularities covered over by the formable coating in the subsequent process.

The use of geocells in base reinforcement of structural fill allows confinement of the soil from lateral spreading, therefore preventing shear failure, and increasing the soil bearing capacity. Geocells are typically loaded by the live loads on the surface and the overall structure is tensioned while the underlying foundation soil settles. These are regularly used for soil confinement on steep slopes to prevent severe erosion. These are sometimes installed even over slippery geomembrances to contain and reinforce the cover soil.

Geocomposite drainage systems consist of a polymer drainage core protected by a geotextile acting as both a filter and a separator to the adjacent material. Thus a geonet, with a geotextile attached to one surface or to both surfaces are indeed a drainage geocomposite. The geotextile filter is always attached to the drainage core and the core can take a wide variety of nongeonet shapes and configurations. In some cases, the geotextile is only on one side of the core, in other cases it is wrapped completely around the drainage core.

Geogrids are high-strength, soil reinforcement products composed of polypropylene, polyethylene, polyester, or PVC-coated polyester. All geogrids have an open mesh configuration with apertures ranging from ½ to 3 inches. These are formed by several different methods. The polyester and polyester PVC-coated geogrids are typically woven or knitted. The polypropylene geogrids are either extruded or punched sheet drawn, and polyethylene geogrids are exclusively punched sheet drawn. These are most commonly used to steepen or stabilize a slope, construct a soil wall, or to increase the bearing capacity of weak subgrades under embankments.

Girth weld coating is a fiberglass reinforced sleeve specifically designed for girth weld corrosion protection. This sleeve is used for corrosion protection of girth welds on coated pipes used for horizontal or directional drilling. It is highly resistant to shear and peel forces induced by soil and thermal movements. This coating is applied in the open air along the right-of-way and, in many cases, specification and quality control are minimal. Girth weld polyurethane coatings is used for coating of on-shore & off-shore structures & pipe, sewer lines, general piping, dam gates, penstocks, lining of tanks and sewage digesters.

Gravity feed spray gun is the most common type used for painting. It is a high-volume, low-pressure gun. It is designed to deposit more of the atomized material onto the surface being sprayed while reducing overspray. This spray gun also uses cup pressure to feed liquid through the spray gun. It mounts the cup on top of the spray gun head so that pull of gravity helps the material flow out of the cup. A gravity feed design helps eliminate the problem of spitting. All of the liquid will flow down into the pickup hole formed in the bottom of the cup. No pickup tube is needed.
