An underground double containment system consists of a concrete outer containment receptacle housing a primary fluid flow pipe, which extends there through and is supported on inverted T-beam structures within the concrete receptacle. The concrete receptacle can be provided with a removable cover providing access to the primary piping in modular sections defined by the boundary of the receptacle and flexible curved tubes opening in the wall of the receptacle through which the primary piping module sections can be removed from the receptacle or held for repair/maintenance.

During electrophoretic painting, the water-diluted coating material is broken up into cations and anions. The anions are particles of the paint, while cations are amines or ammonia, with the aid of which the varnish binder is neutralized to make it water-soluble. Under the influence of direct current, negatively charged anions migrate to the positive pole (anode), where they lose their charge and thereby undergo transition into the insoluble state. Positively charged cations migrate to the negative pole (cathode) where they, too, lose their charges and change to free amines. Electrophoresis is used to apply mostly monolayer coatings of 15 to 35 µm thickness. If using electroconductive primers, it is possible to apply double-layer electrophoresis coatings of 30 to 45 µm thickness.

Electroplating involves the coating of an electrically conductive object with a layer of metal using electrical current. Usually, the process is used to deposit an adherent surface layer of a metal having some desired property onto a substrate lacking that property. It is also used to build up thickness on undersized parts. The process used in electroplating is called electrodeposition and is analogous to a galvanic or electrochemical cell acting in reverse. The part to be plated is the cathode of the circuit while anode is made of the metal to be plated on the part. Both of these components are immersed into a solution containing one or more metal salts as well as other ions that permit the flow of electricity. A rectifier supplies a direct current to the cathode causing the metal ions in solution to lose their charge and plate out on the cathode. As the electrical current flows through the circuit, the anode slowly dissolves and replenishes the ions in the bath.

Electrostatic spray guns are used for coating application of electrically conductive materials, dry powders, plastics, dry epoxies, metallic oxides and ceramics. It comprises a housing for receiving a replaceable collapsible container, a nozzle from which fluid is to be sprayed, squeeze grip mechanism for compressing the container to feed fluid to the nozzle and high voltage contacts for applying electrostatic potential to the fluid.

Enamel paints are based on varnish, polyurethane, or alkyd resin. The alkyd resin is a type of thermosetting plastic. Some of the newer enamel paints are acrylic and can be thinned with water. Enamel hardens to a tough film, is weather resistant, and adheres to most surfaces. Enamel paints come in many formulations, for both interior and exterior work. These paints are readily applied to primed, previously painted, or galvanized-metal surfaces. Surface preparation includes the removal of dirt, oil, grease, and other surface contaminats.

EPDM geomembrane rubber liner exhibits high tensile strength and provides resistance to punctures, UV radiation, weathering and microbial attack. It is also highly flexible material with a low co-efficient of thermal expansion and contraction, allowing it to lay flat in a wide range of temperatures and terrains thereby conforming well to irregularities in the subgrade. This linear is available in thicknesses from 30 to 45 mil. It is used in ponds, lakes, canals and fish stock ponds.

Epoxy based coatings are typically pigmented with hard fillers such as calcined bauxite and provide efficient protection through the combination of abrasion resistance and anti-corrosive performance. Epoxy coatings are used primarily for interior applications subject to chemicals or harsh conditions such as waste and water treatment plants, hospitals and manufacturing facilities. Epoxy coatings are available in a wide variety of finishes, coolers and textures and may be a roller or towel applied.

Air dry coatings are self-priming, high gloss, corrosion resistant coating. It is suitable for use where a high performance, chemically resistant coating is desired. This coating offers single coat corrosion protection at 4-6 mils thickness, as well as very good abrasion resistance. It may also be used as a 2 or 3-coat system for use in industrial environments including offshore oil and gas.

Thermal cure epoxy is a specially blended high molecular weight coating. It provides corrosion resistance in most environments. This coating is also ideal for applications where an abrasion resistant coating is needed. It offers barrier protection from alkali and caustic solutions, and other harsh chemicals and solvents.
